ParticipantHi everyone! I’m in Vancouver, WA, but originally from B.C., Canada! Our kiddos are out of school for 6 weeks and since I’m not typically a fun, creative mom (more of the responsible, structured type), I’m really looking forward to using these activities to make memories with my kids and lighten the mood a bit!

ParticipantThis was soooo refreshing to read!! My 3.5 has been so whiney lately, and reading these techniques affirmed my actions. I’m NOT perfect by any means, but it helps me understand that I am not alone!

ParticipantWe joined our local Wild + Free group which has a nature day together twice a month. Seeing the same children regularly like that, in a small group and outside, has allowed for major bonding. Maybe see if one (or similar) resonates with you and is in your area! (they’re at: https://www.bewildandfree.org)

ParticipantHow’s your local library? Ours is a great place for kiddos to connect, especially during weekend afternoons. It’s a great, low-key way for kids to naturally share a space without a lot of noise/activity, like you’d find at a park.
