I don’t have any advice for places to stop or things to see, but I have travelled all over Canada with my 2 year old, he’s been on over 30 flights, some long, some short, and we’ve done a few road trips. Every time you stop for gas/food/bathroom, try to pick areas where the 3 year old can stretch and run to let out that pent up energy. Even 20 minutes of play can help for the next stretch of sitting.
