Just wanted to come back here and update that we’ve had a breakthrough! With one of the weekly parent extra credit activities, I’ve started asking the kids if they have any questions about their day, and my son always asks what’s coming the following day. It turns out he likes knowing what activities are coming up, and, when he’s ready for what’s coming, it’s like night and day with his interest level. At least this week. I will keep watching and learning, but this has been such a delight to see!
